Not So Sala Thalay Resort

Choose a good resort if you are heading to Krabi 5/5

If not for Sala Thalay Resort, my trip to Krabi would not have been memorable and worthwhile. Krabi is basically a laid back city with minimal shopping and entertainment. Even the number of massage places pales in comparison with Bangkok and Phuket. The food, in my opinion, was not as delicious as Bangkok's. So if you are keen to go Krabi, be prepared to spend one or two days island hopping, and the rest lazing in your resort.

I booked a one day tour for a Four island Snorkeling trip. It costs 700 Baht per person. The trip was alright. Expect alittle bit of sun tanning, snorkeling and walking on beaches through out the journey. The guide was also hilarious and entertaining. A Packet Lunch, drinks and fruits are also provided.

The next day, my plan was to go for a rafting expedition. I paid 1,100 baht for it. Due to unforeseen circumstances, my rafting trip was cancelled. ( Wana make a guess, what happened?)

I would say the highlight of my Krabi stay was at Sala Thalay. The resort was really heavenly and tranquil. I can spend the whole day, lazing by the pool, suntanning, daydreaming, ipading, chitchatting with strangers and watch the day pass by.

For those who are interested and thinking of heading to Krabi, I say, check out this website.
